Literature Text

Standing at the curb edge
and seeing the world so wide
It only makes you wonder
If you took one step into the wind
All the pain and suffering will fade.
How the wind howls! How the heaven wails!
How the stars glitter and glare!
But my love lieth no more.
It is, but cold and bare as I watched,
Seeing how the world stand so wide.
My pale feet became white wings
And I took my learning step.
The heaven danced and praised me,
The stars smiled upon me,
The wind whistled and cried,
Wrapping its arm around my luminous self
like shadow shimmering
and world of chaos became silent
As I fell, but only the cicadas sang.
I havent written a poem in such a long time so I'm a bit rusty. After reading 'Addiciton to Blood' a deviation that made to top favorite. I was inspired to write my own. Its bit melancholy.

Pardon if my skills are rusty, but comments and critiues are much, much appreciated!

Merry
